Meet Hope – Ann’s Pet Sitting Employee Ambassador 💼🐶✨
Hope is our 90-pound, gray-bodied, white-faced queen of heart and hilarity — and yes, she’s named Hope because the world truly needs more of it 💛🌎
She is big.
She is strong.
She is… occasionally terrified of absolutely nothing.
A leaf blows? 😳 A cabinet closes? 😱 Her own tail taps a chair? 🚨
Hope will launch straight into the air, scare herself dramatically, and possibly redecorate the room in the process. Olympic-level theatrics. Gold medal in “Startled by Vibes.” 🥇💥
But beneath that big, bouncy exterior is the gentlest soul.
Hope has helped raise two entire litters of kittens 🐱🐱 — each kitten roughly the size of her paw. They climbed on her, snuggled into her, pulled her ears, and she just laid there like a proud, patient nanny. Soft eyes. Protective energy. Zero complaints. 🥹✨
She also gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes 🐶🐕🦺🐾
Big, small, shy, energetic — she reads the room like a professional. When new dogs come to stay for a day or several, Hope helps them settle in and feel at ease. She’s the quiet confidence in the corner. The steady presence that says, “You’re safe here.” 💛
She’ll share her bed. - She’ll share her toys. - She’ll share her space.
But her food?
Absolutely not. 🚫🍽️😂
In fact, she is the official Food Security Officer of the household. When everyone’s eating, Hope stands watch to make sure the cats don’t sneak toward the other dogs’ bowls. She shoos them off with calm authority. Boundaries matter.
Outside is her playground 🌿🌪️
She loves to run, roughhouse, and engage in dramatic mouth-wrestling matches. She has even been known to casually remove another dog’s collar mid-play like some kind of playful ninja. 🥷😂
On leash? Total professional.
Treats? Catches them mid-air like an all-star athlete. 🏆🍖
If she’s bored outside, she’ll toss her own toys into the air and catch them just to entertain herself. Independent. Innovative. Self-amusing queen. 🎾✨
Her safe place is Rose 💕
If Hope feels unsure, she’ll quietly (or not so quietly) hops up behind Rose in the recliner and press herself close like a giant gray security blanket. That’s her reset button. Her comfort zone.
At bedtime, she transforms into a 90-pound lap dog 🛏️👑
She believes — deeply and without question — that she is small. She will stretch across the entire bed and then roll onto her back, legs straight up, smiling so big you can feel it 😄 Waiting for belly rubs and kisses like they are her rightful reward.
Hope doesn’t know how big she is.
She doesn’t know how strong she is.
But she knows how to love — fiercely, gently, and with her whole goofy heart. 💕🐾
She is guardian and goofball. Comfort and chaos. Soft eyes and strong paws.

Diva – Retired Queen & Resident Royalty 👑
Meet Diva, our graceful retired Queen and the very definition of calm, cool, and beautifully composed. Having raised several lovely litters in her day, this extraordinary Bengal has traded the royal nursery for a life of well-earned leisure — and she has never looked better.
Nothing phases Diva. Playful pups, curious kittens, household bustle — she simply observes with her signature aloof elegance. Since retiring from breeding, she has slimmed down and now enjoys the gentle rhythm of a peaceful, quiet home. Her coat is remarkably soft and unusually colored for a Bengal, making her truly one of a kind. And then there are those HUGE, expressive green eyes — soulful, wise, and just a touch regal. 💚
Though she carries herself with quiet dignity, Diva gets along beautifully with all animals. She has a calm presence that brings balance wherever she settles.
Her greatest love, however, is her heated cat bed — her personal throne. 🔥🐾 You will often find her curled up in bliss, one elegant leg draped casually over the side, as if posing for a portrait.
And should another pet happen to discover her heated haven before she does? Diva does not fuss. She does not argue. Instead, she perches gracefully just above them, watching with serene patience… waiting for the moment they recognize the Queen’s silent request and courteously vacate her throne. 👑✨
These days, Diva embraces the soft, simple joys of retirement — warmth, peace, and quiet companionship. A true lady of poise and presence, she reminds us that royalty is not about demanding attention — it is about naturally commanding it.

RooRoo – Our Sweet “Foster Fail” & Joyful Little Firecracker 🧡
Meet RooRoo, our beautiful tabby girl with a heart as big as her personality. She was one of the precious kittens Hope helped raise during a foster litter lovingly named after the characters from Winnie-the-Pooh. Somewhere between bottle feedings, tiny purrs, and playful pounces, RooRoo quietly worked her magic… and completely won the hearts of Ann and Rose.
And just like that, she became our proud and permanent “Foster Fail.” 💕🐾
RooRoo is pure sunshine wrapped in stripes. She’s energetic, curious, and when nighttime arrives… watch out! 🌙✨ The zoomies activate without warning — a blur of tabby streaking down hallways and launching off furniture with Olympic-level enthusiasm. We like to think she’s training for the Midnight Kitty Olympics. 🏃♀️💨
When the excitement winds down, RooRoo becomes the sweetest cuddle companion. She curls up beside Hope, happily sharing warmth and comfort like the loving little sister she is. 🐱🤍 There’s something so peaceful about seeing the two of them tucked in together.
She is also generous with her affection — especially toward her devoted human “servants,” Ann and Rose. 💋😽 RooRoo loves giving gentle kisses and soft head boops as a reminder that we are, in fact, very lucky to serve her.
Ever the social butterfly, she makes friends with everyone she meets — furry or human alike. But don’t let that easygoing charm fool you… this girl has standards. When it comes to wet food, RooRoo can be delightfully particular about flavor and brand. 🥫👑 A refined palate is simply part of her charm.
She also has a mischievous, generous streak. From her perch on the cat tree or a casual stroll across the kitchen counter, she will occasionally “accidentally” drop food or objects to the dogs below. 🍗🐶 We suspect she believes she’s running a charitable snack distribution program.
RooRoo even has her very own Catio — her safe little outdoor kingdom. 🌿☀️ There she enjoys fresh air, sunshine, and neighborhood views without any of the dangers of the outside world. It’s her personal retreat for bird watching and peaceful daydreaming.
Playful. Affectionate. Slightly dramatic. Wonderfully loving. RooRoo fills our home with laughter, comfort, and just the right amount of chaos. 🧡

Chase – The Reformed Gangster with a Heart of Gold 😼🖤
Last, but most definitely not least, meet Chase — our indoor/outdoor legend, neighborhood icon, and former “street boss.”
Rescued from the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, this handsome guy originally went by the name Paco. But it didn’t take long for us to realize… this was no Paco. This was Chase. And Chase has a story written in swagger.
You can tell he’s from the hood. 🏙️
He walks with confidence. He surveys his territory like he owns the block (because, frankly, he does). And when he wants outside? Oh, you’ll know.
Chase does not “ask.”
He announces. 📣
There will be meowing. There will be door banging. If his requests are ignored, small-scale household havoc may ensue. Papers rustle. Objects shift. The vibe changes. He believes in clear communication.
And when he’s ready to come back in? He doesn’t wait politely. He leaps onto the screen door and rocks it like he’s knocking. 🚪🐾 “I’m home. Open up.”
Out in the neighborhood, Chase runs a very successful side operation. He prowls with purpose and has managed to charm (or con) several families into offering snacks. 🍗😼 We suspect he tells each of them he’s “barely fed” at home. A true entrepreneur.
But here’s the beautiful twist in his story.
Underneath that tough exterior is a deeply loyal, affectionate family man. When it’s time for love, Chase transforms. He’ll climb onto your chest — all solid, muscular, not-moving-anytime-soon pounds of him — and settle in like a weighted blanket with whiskers. 🖤 He head-bumps with conviction. When Chase gives affection, he means it.
He knows exactly what he wants and expects it delivered. Boundaries? Clear. Confidence? Absolute.
And then there’s his relationship with Hope, our sweet pit mastiff mix. 🐶💕 You’ll often find Chase carefully cleaning her big face like a devoted older brother. But once he’s decided the spa session is complete, he gives her a little bite on her jowls — a firm but fair signal that says, “We’re done here.” She understands. Everyone does.
Chase may have started as a neighborhood roamer with a little edge, but at heart he is fiercely devoted to his people and his home. He protects his turf. He loves his family. And he lives life entirely on his own terms.
A former gangster. A professional wanderer. A loyal family man.
